Chocolate Charlotte – Kinder Style

For this strangely easy to make chocolate relish you will need:

  • 80gr butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 200ml liquid cream
  • 3 spoons of milk
  • 300gr dark chocolate
  • 50ml rum
  • 100gr sugar

+ a round shape with removable bottom

For the decoration we will need all my childhood guilty pleasure: Kinder Surprise Egg, Kinder Bueno bars, strawberries, chocolate pralines with cocos and rum.

It is starting with a chocolate pieces bain-marie, then we add the milk and we let everything melt and become creamy. After that, we add the butter little by little. At this point we mix veeery slowly-carefully-with a smooth touch and we let the cream get cold.

We take the eggs and separate the yolk from the white. We whisk the white with 50gr of sugar. In parallel, we whisk the liquid cream with the remaining 50gr of sugar. In the end, we combine the 2 results.

Now we are ready to make a big happy family: we gently incorporate the above with the chocolate sauce.

We cut the Kinder Bueno bars at the size of the height of the round shape and we lean them against its wall. We pour in the middle the happy sweet family from above and now the real challenge appears: not to eat this taste buds heaven until the second day… because we have to refrigerate it for 24 hours.

When that time passed, we are ready to decorate with all the goodies mentioned in the beginning of the article. Mine looked like this:
